Area of operation: Nicobar Islands, Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Project Summary:ANET has been working to send relief materials to Nicobar Islands on need-basis (they procure relief materials like food, clothes, water etc. when ever there is a need and provide them to the survivors). This way ANET is avoiding storage and dumping of excess relief materials. We are supporting ANET to cover day-to-day cost of buying necessary items and organizing the relief efforts (costs about Rs. 10,000/day).

Amount funded: $5,000.

Comments:We are currently working with the NGO to support their long-term rehabilation activities in the Islands.
